Our
Services

  • Troubleshooting and Repair

Any seasoned RV owner knows this simple reality - Things break! Skip the long wait at the dealership and let us come to you. We’ll get your RV appliances, plumbing, and mechanical components back to working condition, and your vacation back on track without the hassle!

  • Maintenance

Let’s get ahead of the repairs and protect your home on wheels with routine maintenance! Bad sealant, dirty AC coils, old anode rods, etc. These things can lead to very costly repairs if not properly maintained. From resealing your roof and exterior, cleaning air conditioners, winterization, and more, we’ll give you peace of mind that your next camping trip will stay dry and comfortable!

  • Inspections

Buying an RV can be a stressful process for beginners and experienced RVers alike. When spending so much money on a vehicle/trailer that was intended to bring adventure to your life, it can be heartbreaking to instead inherit a problematic money-pit that spends more time in a shop than a campsite. Allow us to spend a full workday inspecting your potential purchase and generating a full NRVIA certified report for minor to major (and potentially life threatening) issues, so that you can feel confident when it’s time time to sign that paperwork!

We are Tyler and Zen Dickenshied, a husband and wife who traded our standard suburban life in Central Texas for a life of adventure on the road! We are not just business owners; we are full-time RV lifers who understand the challenges of RV ownership and the difficulties of things breaking at the worst possible time. We know the anxiety of a leveling jack getting stuck in a remote location and the frustration of a malfunctioning slide-out on check-out day. We believe our husky/lab, Fenrir, may even be holding a grudge over the hot summer day in Texas when our AC went out!

Our own dream of a perpetual "extended vacation" inspired the business model. After plenty of research and DIY repairs to fix our own RV problems during the first few months of our RV life journey, Tyler attended the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA), completing both the certified technician and certified inspector courses and becoming a member of both the RVTAA and NRVIA.

· Summer (May - October): Servicing the Upper Peninsula of Michigan; Munising, Marquette, and surrounding areas.

· Winter (December - April): Servicing Southwest Florida; Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Ft. Myers, Sarasota, and surrounding areas.

Technician Rates:

Service Fee $50 - Like a shop fee, this charge covers materials that don’t make it to the invoice, wear and tear on tools, and all the things behind the scenes that keep a business running smoothly. This is not a travel fee, and it is not waived if we happen to be close by. If the service is not able to be completed due to lack of parts or unforeseen circumstances, you will not be charged an additional service fee for a return service to complete the job.

Hourly Rate $150/hr - 1 hour minimum charge, additional time rounded to the nearest quarter of an hour. If the service call happens to be a simple fix that only takes a fraction of that hour, the customer is entitled to the remainder of that hour for education or additional repairs. However, the additional repairs will be subject to the appropriate hourly labor rate if they exceed the initial hour minimum.

Mileage Fee $1.25/mi over 15 miles (one way)

As a veteran owned business, we value the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform. We offer a 10% discount on all labor to all active service and veterans of the armed forces.

Warranty Work - We perform warranty work on a case by case basis. We will always do our best to provide any information and pictures necessary for the RV owner to file the claim, but whoever requests the service call is responsible for payment at the time of service. Warranty claims can lead to many additional hours of paperwork and chasing down companies for paychecks that can come months down the road. We apologize for passing this responsibility onto the owner, but our time is much better spent helping our customers fix their equipment.

Rental Repairs - As mentioned in the warranty work section, whoever requests the service call is responsible for payment at the time of service. Please coordinate with the rental company/owner prior to scheduling service to work out the appropriate details for payment.
